PRATISHTA SURVARNA MAHOTSAVA -2015-16
Shree Saunsthan Gaudapadcharya Kavale Math having its Headquarters at Kavale- Ponda Goa is one of the ancient math of Gaud Saraswat Barhmins (GSB). The Math's history could be traced as far back to 2700 years ago. Shree Kavale Math has branches all over India.
BANGANGA WALKESHWAR is one of the oldest Hindu Settlements in Mumbai and is an important heritage site and the most sought after Branches of this venerated Math in the vicinity and serene surroundings of Banganga. It was established around 1630 AD. Later the Building Complex was constructed by Brahmibhhot Guruvarya Shreemad Sachidanand Saraswati Swamiji (76th pontiff of Guru Parampara) in the year 1963. During May 1965 Goddess Shantadurgadevi was consecrated (Pratishthapana) here in the holy presence of H. H. Swamiji.
It is matter of overwhelming joy and pleasure that 50 years have been completed ever since the temple is consecrated. It is a matter of pride to signify that our PARAMPOOJYA H. H. SHREEMAD SHIVANAND SARASWATI SWAMIJI (present 77th pontiff of Guru Parampara) would complete 21 years of DIKSHA IN THE YEAR 2015. Hence have a great aspiration to celebrate the entire year 2015-16 (May 2015 to June 2016) as an auspicious Suvarna Varsha and thereby making the Celebration most memorable.
To commemorate the Celebration of Golden Jubilee year with grandeur with the blessings of Lord Shree Bhavanishankar, Shree Shantadurga & H. H. Shivanand Saraswati Swamiji we have organised folllowing:
